FLOW DIAGRAM
Called diagram of flow of blocks
It’s very used in administrative processes or services
It can have several directions
Example: Flow diagram
ANALYTICAL DIAGRAM
It’s a diagram of flow
It uses five symbols
It’s much more technical
It allows to obtain detailed information
Example: Analytical Diagram
SYNOPTIC DIAGRAM
Also called graph of operations of the process.
It uses two symbols (Operation and inspection)
It’s more technical
It has four divisions (Operation number, Resources, Time and Observations)
Example: Synoptic Diagram
IDEOGRAM
It’s very similar to the precedence diagram. The activities are figures or illustrations
PRECEDENCE DIAGRAM
Representation of tasks or elements of a process that precede others.
Symbol: Circle
Activities: verbs
It going from left to right It use lines, arrows and connectors
Example: Precedence diagram for the elaboration of bread
